Purchased out of the 2003 Performance Breeder's Bull Sale to sire progeny with fleshing ability, style, structure with performance and muscle. Image Maker has been exactly what we were looking for, he does not breed extremes in any certain trait but leaves a balance for overall usefulness. 2999's sire, Image Maker 0415 was the $25,000 High Selling Bull in 2001 to Rollin Rock with 7 full brothers averaging $9000 US dollars. Again cow families make the difference in great herd bulls with Image Maker 2999's dam being the famous 9038 cow who is now deceased but not before leaving over a million dollars in progeny including the four flush brothers this spring that averaged $8700. RR Image Maker 2999's dam is no slouch either out of the ABS sire Ferdinand who traces twice back to Blackcap 5367 who is the dam of 9440, Northern Improvement and many other great sires. A shot of Lost Lake Home Run to finish off this outcross sires pedigree and the rest is history. The Image Maker sons in the spring of 2005 included the $14,000 "Imagery" bull to Beverly Hills Angus, as well as the 9011 son that was $10,500 bull to Everblack Angus and Wayne Stetson. There is only one other bull in the Angus breed that has EPD's which compare to Image Maker 2999.
